On this occasion of International Day of the Nurse, which is celebrated on May 12 every year, we need to acknowledge, honor and cheer on our nurses for their compassion and courage. Announced recently by the International Council of Nurses (ICN), the theme for International Nurses Day 2021 is “Nurses: A Voice to Lead- A Vision for future healthcare.”
The pandemic had revealed many flaws in many of the world's health systems, as well as the overwhelming pressures that nurses face daily, and highlighted their tremendous dedication and bravery.
